Self-Improvement Through Honesty

Wayne's World

Honesty is not only the best policy when dealing with others.  It is also the best policy when evaluating oneself.  Researchers led by Young-Hoon Kim at the University of Pennsylvania have concluded an accurate self-assessment of performance – good or bad – is what averts depression and encourages self-enhancement.  Acknowledging one’s weaknesses, aside from asserting one’s strengths, is what will most likely lead to improved future performance.
